About Karan
Lt Col Karan Singh Jaswal (Retd) and Executive Vice President brings over four decades of leadership across the Indian Army, banking, insurance and technology services. At QKTech he has led the Digital Experience Management business since 2021, and he also heads the Production Monitoring Support unit. Both serve banks, insurers and capital market firms. His teams help BFSI clients keep their customer-facing web and mobile applications available, fast and reliable through synthetic monitoring and production support.
Before joining QKTech, Karan spent 14 years with the ICICI Group. He was Head of Internal Audit at ICICI Lombard General Insurance (2016–2020) and, before that, Head of Information Systems Audit for Group ICICI. Earlier at ICICI Bank he held senior roles in treasury audit, fraud prevention and credit card operations.
He began his career as an Artillery officer, commissioned in 1984, and served for 22 years. He specialised in battlefield surveillance and target acquisition, served in counter-insurgency operations in Kashmir, and led trials of foreign electronic equipment. He took voluntary retirement as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2006.
Karan holds a PGDBA from MDI Gurgaon and a Cyber Governance certification from ISB Hyderabad, and he completed the Long Gunnery Staff Course in the Armed Forces in 1993.
